Abilities and mobilities




Often, you'll find that a squad's path to success is made possible by a solid recon player. Pathfinder handles a role like that in spades with abilities that provide advantageous intel. His abilities can increase mobility and awareness of nearby enemies, so your responsibility as Pathfinder is to serve your squadmates and keep them in the know about what's happening on the battlefield.

Pathfinder’s tactical ability is Grappling Hook, which can be used to get to hard-to-reach places quickly. It's your go-to method for getting a lay of the land, and it can get you out of sticky situations easily.

Meanwhile, his passive ability Insider Knowledge allows you to scan a survey beacon that will reveal the ring’s next location while also decreasing the recharge time of his ultimate ability by 10 seconds. Use this whenever you see the survey beacon as it can greatly help you gain a positional advantage over the next team.

His aforementioned ultimate ability is Zipline Gun, which creates a zipline that everyone can use, allowing your whole squad to reach areas not as easily accessible. Since it has a 2-minute recharge time, it should be used frequently for consistent repositioning.
